Public transport
Arriving at Rotterdam Central Station:
-From Rotterdam/The Hague airport, take bus 33
-From Amsterdam Schiphol airport, take the train.
-From Eindhoven airport, take bus 400 or 401 to Eindhoven Central station, and proceed your trip from there.
-Many international trains directly arrive at Rotterdam Central Station.
Reaching ss Rotterdam from Rotterdam Central Station:
There are different options depending on your time of arrival, and how adventurous you feel:
-The coolest, strongly recommended route would be to take metroline E (direction Slinge) to ‘Leuvehaven’ (or walk through the city center) and book your Watertaxi (in advance) to go from stop ‘Centrum (47)’ directly to ‘ss Rotterdam (56)’.
-Alternatively, arrive with the same metro at metrostop ‘Rijnhaven’ and take bus 77 or the free shuttle to arrive at ss Rotterdam (shuttles on Mondays – Thursdays between 8:00-11:30h and 15:00-19:00h, leaves from the taxi-parking at Rijnhaven, or call the driver at +31 10 297 30 96).
-Plan your trip with metro-, tram- and bus lines in and around Rotterdam
-Plan your Watertaxi trip (pro-tip: download the Watertaxi Rotterdam app)
